Imphal: The 11th Medical Camp/Health Mela, as part of the “Ayushman Bhava” Campaign initiated by the Ministry of Health & Family Welfare, Government of India, was conducted at the Community Health Centre (CHC), Kakching on 6th January 2024. The health mela was held in collaboration with the Shija Academy of Health Sciences (SAHS) and CHC, Kakching.
A dedicated team of specialized doctors and support staff from SAHS screened 128 patients during the camp. Apart from distributing free medicine, the camp also provided free consultations with specialists in General Medicine, General Surgery, Psychiatry, Paediatrics, Orthopaedics, and Ophthalmology. Additionally, registrations for ABHA ID, AB-PMJAY, and CMHT were facilitated.
Shija has been regularly conducting health melas and medical camps, emphasizing its commitment to providing uninterrupted healthcare services to the community.
