Imphal: Rajya Sabha MP and titular King Leishemba Sanajaoba inaugurated a seven day long State Level Exhibition (PMEGP) at Hapta Kangjeibung, Imphal on friday.

Speaking at the gathering as Chief Guest, MP Sanajaoba highlighted the power of local products and the magic in the fingers of local artisans, craftsman & weavers.
He also urged people to support local products and help in empowering local entrepreneurs, conveying that promoting and encouraging will boost economy and employment opportunities. He urged the people to inculcate habit of timely repayment of PMEGP loans.
Director of Khadi & Village Industries Commission, Imphal, A.S. S. Dewan elaborated on the role PMEGP plays in empowering the local entrepreneurs.
N. Nimbus Singh, Chairman, MKVIB, who presided over the function also appealed to people of Manipur to come out and witness the display of local products at this seven days long exhibition.
