Imphal: An induction programme for B.A/B.Sc first Semester students (Honours) for the academic session 2023-24 of GP Women’s College was organised by Internal Quality Assurance Cell, IQAC of the college at its Central Hall here on Monday.
The programme was attended by GP Women’s College Principal and Dean School of Social Science Professor (Dr) RK Tamphasana Devi, vice-president of GP Women’s Students’ Union cum Head of Department of Physics Dr. Maisnam Bidyasagar and Associate Professor of Head of Department of Mathematics Hijam Romi Devi as presidium members on the day.
Speaking at the programme, college principal Professor RK Tamphasa Devi said that organising such induction programmes will strengthen the relationship between the teachers and newly enrolled students.
She appealed to all the students to strictly follow the rules and regulations of the college and also advised the newly enrolled students to regularly attend the classes. There is a rule that any student who has not reach 75 percent of attendance out of 100 percent could not able to sit in the exam, she reminded.
She appealed to all the teachers and students to work unitedly for further upliftment of the college in the future.
