Imphal: A team of Manipur Police has arreated two drug peddler along with 2.5 kg of heroin powder from an area in Thoubal district on Sunday.
The arrested persons has been identified as N. Alexander (47 yrs) and Ws. Perang Anal.
The duo were arrested for possessing of heroin powder weighing 2.500 kgs (excluding the weight of the soap cases).
The Police team also recovered and seized Mobile Phones, one four vehicler alto, silver in colour, bearing registration number MN03P 7021 and other identity documents from their possession.
The arrested persons and the seized items has been handed over to the concerned Police station for necessary legal actions, a Police report said.
