Imphal: HQ IGAR (South) under the aegis of Spear Corps in an operation apprehended two active cadres of the banned outfit PLA at Kumbi, IB Sitapur road crossing, Bishnupur district on Tuesday.
Based on specific input the troops of Assam Rifles along with Bishnupur Commando Police launched an operation which led to the apprehension of Self-Styled Captain Ibochouba alias Lanthoiba and Self Styled 2nd Lieutenant Keisham Kennedy Meitei alias Rozer, active cadre of PLA outfit. The apprehended cadres have been handed over to Kumbi Police Station for further investigation, said a press release of IGAR(S).
