Imphal: Combined team of State Police and Central Forces has arrested five cadres of different proscribed outfit from Kamjong district on April 18, 2024.
According to a police report, the arrested persons has been identified as Thounaojam Jiten Singh (25 yrs) and Ahanthem Angou Meitei (26 yrs) of proscribed outfit Kanglei Yawol Kanna Lup (KYKL); Ahongsabam Amuba (41 yrs) of proscribed outfit PREPAK, and Themsreiso Siro (40 yrs) and Lawungsem @ Nongthang (46 yrs) suspected to be NSCN-IM cadres.
The combined security forces recovered a cash of Rs. 1,86,720 from their possession.
The arrested persons and the recovered cash has been handed over to the concerned Police station where investigation is underway, the report said.
