Imphal: Imphal West Commando has nabbed a shop owner along with huge consignment of IMFL liquors from Lamphel Sana Keithel on Monday at about 6.30 AM.
Police said Imphal west commando raided a shop ( People store) located at Lamphel Sana Keithel (Thangmeiband Khondram Selungba Leikai) on Monday morning at about 6.30 am.
In the raid, shop owner identified as Salam Sancha @ Deepak Singh (30yrs) s/o S. Santosh Singh of Thangmeiband Khomdram Selungba Leikai was detained.
Gentlemen club 750ml (6 bottles), Iconic white 375ml (9 bottles), McDowells 375 ml -(14 bottles), Sterling Reserve B7 180ml – (38 bottles), Oppa 360ml (8 bottles), Blenders Pride 750ml (6 bottles), Vintage 750ml (2 bottles ), Kusum beer 750ml (2 bottles), Corona Extra beer 355ml, Kingfisher beer 500ml, Old monk beer 500ml and Tuborg beer 50ml could be seized from the shop.
The detainee along with recovered IMFL and beer have been handed over to Exise Department, Lamphelpat for necessary formalities.
