Thoubal: A 21-year-old youth died in a road accident near Lilong Keithel along Asian Highway 102 on Tuesday. Police said that the incident took place at about 5 pm on Tuesday afternoon. The deceased has been identified as Sanasam Jenil (21), son of Shyamjai of Lamding Nasikhong Leikai in
Thoubal district.
He was driving a Honda DIO scooter bearing registration number MN01H 1008 and reportedly met
with a self-accident, after which he succumbed to his injuries.
Police have retrieved the body from the spot and deposited it at JNIMS morgue for autopsy.
