Imphal: Congress candidate for Inner Manipur Bimol Akoijam accompanied by his wife was among the early voters to exercise their franchise at Ramlal Paul Higher Secondary School poling station in Keishamthong AC.
He expressed confidence of emerging victorious at the polls ‘even if rampant voting malpractices are carried out’ maintaining that he is riding on a conspicuous wave of favourable public sentiment. He said the present election is the first step to ushering positive changes in Manipur.
