Imphal: Youth Foundation for Fitness and Service (YOFFS) Manipur in collaboration with AMUCO distributed 30 Arsenic alb and 500 Ayush-64 tablets which could be used by around 2000 people in order to stay healthy during the Covid-19 pandemic. YOFFS is planning to distribute Ayush medicines to different parts of the State to get rid of the viral infection.
A press release issued by YOFFS General Secretary Kh Ramananda Singh stated that the distribution was carried out in Chana village along with Covid-19 Task Force and Chana Meira Paibi Lup. Secretary of Nongren Meira Paibi Lup, Ch Renu and Pradhan of Nongren Chingnungkhok Gram Panchayat, Mayanglangbam (o) Bilashini along with covid warriors of YOFFS distributed the items to the villagers.
It stated that the Covid-19 pandemic has disrupted the observance of 14th Foundation Day of YOFFS; however, the organisation will continue to assist the people to remain healthy during the pandemic.
The organisation appealed to the people to get vaccinated timely, wear face masks, abide by the SOPs and guidelines issued by the government from time to time, wash hands frequently to maintain hygiene and use medications provided by the Ayush Department to prevent further spread of Covid-19 in the State.
