Ccpur :Churachandpur police on Tuesday announced a bounty head of Rupees 50,000/- on an individual who is accused of several cases filed against him at Churachandpur police station.
The accused individual is identified as Thangkhongam Haokip alias Davidson alias Pareng Kom, aged 40, son of Letkhosei Haokip of Matijang Village, Churachandpur district.
As per Churachandpur police, the accused individual is a self-style Commander-in-Chief of Kuki Independent Army/Kuki Independent Organization (KIA/KIO). He is involved in frequent Kidnapping for ransom/Extortion/Bombing cases. He is wanted in (i) FIR No. 40(4)2023 CCP-PS U/s 506/365 IPC (ii) FIR No. 120(7)2022 CCP-PS U/s 400/384/506/34 IPC and 08 (eight) other cases in Churachandpur District, Churachandpur Police said, adding that any person having any knowledge or whereabouts of the above accused person which can lead to the arrest will get a cash reward of Rs. 50,000/- (Rupees Fifty-thousand only).
