Imphal: The 69 Bn conducted a Civic Action Program (CAP) in Marjing village with the aim to promote sports among the youth of the area. The CAP involved the distribution of sports items to the youth of Marjing village, which was conducted in a grand fashion with a colourful display of Manipuri culture.
The event also included a thrilling display of sword skill by the daredevils of Thangta, which left the audience awestruck. Additionally, a friendly but exciting match was held between the Marjing Sporting Club and the Nganba Football Academy, which ended in a last-minute draw, making the event even more memorable.
The chief guest Bajrang Lal, CO 69 Bn, spoke at length about the importance of sports in the development of children and the nation as a whole.
