Churachandpur: At least five people were seriously injured after a Shaktiman truck they were travelling in met with an accident in Churachandpur district on Monday.
The accident happened nearSongpi Village along Churachandpur Tipaimukh road. No death casualty has been reported so far. However, the five seriously injured were currently undergoing treatment
Soon after the news of accident was heard, the Kuki Khanglai Lawmpi (KKL), a philanthropic organisations based in Churachandpur
rushed to the spot and evacuated all the injured persons and rushed them to Churachandpur district hospital
Among the five injured persons, one of them was one Baby Vanlalrauti (5) of Thingkangpang. She was playing by the roadside when
the incident occurred. As she was grievously injured, a CT scan was done at Hauzel Diagnostic in Churachandpur as precautionary measures and
later on refer to Imphal for further treatment. The other injured persons were Paolalmon (19), Lunminlal (21), Jamkholen (40) and Thang Robert (17). All of them belong
to Mata Lambulane village in Churachandpur district
They have been admitted to Churachandpur District Hospital for medical treatment. Save paddy lands of Salungpham: UCO
