Thoubal: Preparations are in full swing in connection with celebration of Khongjom Day. The District Administration Thoubal organised social service at Khongjom War Memorial Complex which began from 7 am on Sunday.
The Social Service was held to keep the historical site of Khongjom War Memorial neat and clean for the State Level Khongjom Day celebration which is going to held on April 23, 2024. During the camp, grass cutting, trimming of bushes, cleaning water bodies among others were done by the participants from line departments to facelift the memorial complex for the visitors.
Staffs of various departments including Municipal Councils of Thoubal, Wangjing Lamding, Yairipok, Shikhong Sekmai, MI, WRD, ZEO, FSA, Transport, Forest Division, Thoubal Police, Fire Service among others participated in the social service Camp.
