Imphal: In a swift action police have arrested three persons who were reportedly involved in the violent incident at a polling station at Moirang Kampu along with a small firearm and five live bullets in their possession.
A 60-year-old man Khoisnam Sanayaima had received a bullet injury in his back shoulder from gunshots fired by miscreants who were trying to capture the polling booths.
The arrested persons along with the seized firearm were handed over to the concerned police station for further legal actions, stated a police report.
