Imphal: Information and Public Relations Minister Dr. S. Ranjan Singh on Tuesday made a surprise visit at
DIPR Head Office, Nityaipat Chuthek, Keishampat, Imphal.
The Minister was warmly received by Director (IPR), H. Balkrisna Singh, Deputy Director (Press) T. Ramesh
Singh, Deputy Director (HQ) and DDO L. Ashok Kumar Singh and other officers and staff of the Directorate.
During his visit, the Minister inspected every section of the Directorate and held discussion on various topics in relations to the Directorate with the officers and staff. The officers and staff expressed their grievances on issues being faced by them. Assuring to fulfil their grievances to the best possible level, the Minister instructed the officers and staff to perform their duty sincerely and diligently. Dr. S. Ranjan further advised the officers and staff to be punctual and reach office on time.
Reiterating that DIPR is an important Government Department which plays a pivotal role in connecting the Government with the public, Dr. Ranjan asked the officers and staff of the Directorate to continue working with full dedication. He also assured to put in his best efforts for the development of the Directorate. The officers and staff also expressed their sincere gratitude to the Minister for his visit.
