Imphal: A combined team of Manipur Police and Central Security Forces successfully conducted search operations and area domination in the fringe and vulnerable areas of Imphal East and Thoubal district in the last 24 hours.
Strict security measures has been implemented across all vulnerable locations, with security convoys deployed in sensitive stretches to facilitate the free and safe movement of vehicles. Specifically, 122 vehicles along NH-37 and 78 vehicles along NH-2, transporting essential items, have been ensured safe passage.
Security strategy has been implemented with the installation of a total of 142 Nakas / Checkpoints in different districts of Manipur, covering both hill and valley regions. The police have detained 214 individuals across the state in connection with various violations. These individuals were released after undergoing thorough verification procedures, as stated in a press release from the Manipur Police Control Room.
