Churachandpur: Churachandpur Police led by two Additional SPs, during a special drive for identification of illegal immigrants conducted today identified 23 Myanmar nationals in Churachandpur district.
As per Churachandpur Police, at around 11:30 AM of today, a special drive for identification of illegal immigrants was carried out at Kawnpui area Churachandpur by District Police led by two Addl SPs. During the special drive, 23 (twenty three) illegal immigrants from Myanmar including 6 males, 10 females and 7 children were identified from two locations in Kawnpui village, Churachandpur.
As per the notification issued by the District Magistrate, Churachandpur vide No.04/215/2023-DC/CCP dated March 31, 2023, the 23 illegal immigrants are temporarily kept at Sadbhavna Mandap, New Lamka, Churachandpur after proper documentation till the Temporary Shelter Home at Singhat is completed.
