KANGPOKPI: In the early Under-15 football match of the ongoing 17th Kanggui Inter Ward Tournament 2021 at Brig.M. Thomas Ground, Kangpokpi this morning, Ward No.14 had an easy 3-0 win over Ward No.2.
Kaigougin(6th), Haogunlal(14th-OG) and Manggougun(30th) scored for Ward No.14.
In the main football, Ward No.3(A) had a narrow 2-1 win over Ward No.16 in the first match. Thathang(8th) and Hahao(25th) scored for Ward No.3(A) while Kamngaithang scored the lone of Ward No.16 in the 6th minutes.
In another main football match, Ward No.12 had another easy 5-0 win over Ward No.10 in the third match. Satminlal (12th, 49th, 52nd), Haogoulen (22nd) and Samuel (45th) scored the winning goals.
In the first veteran football match, Ward No.12 had an easy 3-0 win over Ward No.5&6. Thanggin(12th, 24th) and Seijang(31st) scored the winning goals.
Ward No.4 and Ward No.13 went 1-1 draw in the second Veteran football match. Lamtinkhup(42nd) scored for Ward No.4 while Mangcha (47th) scored for Ward No.13.
In men’s volleyball, Ward No.12 defeated Ward No.4 in three straight set in the first match while Ward No.1 defeated Ward No.8 in similar set.
In women’s volleyball, Ward No.8 defeated Ward No.16 by 2-1 set while Ward No.12(B) defeated Ward No.7 by two straight set.
Tomorrow, in Under-15 football, Ward No.3 will play Ward No.13 in the morning at 7:30 am.
In men’s volleyball, Ward No.5&6 will play Ward No.2 while Ward No.13 will play Ward No.7 in the second match.
In women’s volleyball, Ward No.2 will play Ward No.3 in the first match while Ward No.1 will play Ward No.11 in the second match.
In main football, Ward No.1 will play Ward No.4 in the first match and Ward No.9 will play Ward No.17 in the third match.
In Veteran football, Ward No.1 will play Ward No.9 in the second match while Ward No.3 will play Ward No.10 in the fourth match.
