Imphal: A team of Manipur Police arrested one drug trafficker from Martyrs Park, Mao on Thursday.
The arrested person has been identified as MD. Zahid Khan, 34, son of (Late) Md. Nasimuddin of Haoreibi Mayai Leikai, Thoubal District.
The Police team recovered and seized 111.80 gm of brown sugar contained in 10 soap cases from his possession.
The arrested person and the seized contraband drug have been handed over to the Mao Police Station.
A case has also been registered at the Mao Police Station for further investigation, a Police report said.
