Imphal: A combined team of Manipur Police and Central Security Forces has recovered cache of arms and explosives during a search operation and area domination conducted in the fringe and vulnerable areas of Imphal West, Thoubal, Churachandpur and Bishnupur districts in the last 24 hours.
Arms and explosives recovered by the combined team from Bishnupur district include one INSAS rifle and one Carbine along with magazines, five HE Hand Grenade and one country made long range mortar (Pompi).
The recovered items have been handed over to the concerned police station for necessary legal proceedings, said a source.
