Imphal: Shija Hospitals & Research Institute Pvt. Ltd. (SHRI) is now empaneled with the Government of Nagaland for the implementation of the Chief Minister Health Insurance Scheme (CMHIS) after signing an agreement between CEO, Nagaland Health Protection Society, Department of Health & Family Welfare, Nagaland and DGM, BD & Operations, Shija Hospitals & Research Institute Pvt. Ltd., Langol, Imphal West, on September 5.
This partnership highlights SHRI’s commitment to providing quality healthcare services to the people of Nagaland and further strengthens the state’s healthcare infrastructure.
As part of this collaboration, Shija Hospitals will serve as a vital component of the CMHIS network of service providers. The hospital has affirmed its commitment to providing the necessary infrastructure to deliver medical and surgical facilities, along with diagnostic procedures, to CMHIS beneficiaries as covered by CMHIS.
Under the agreement, Shija Hospitals will offer a wide range of hospitalization services for clinical conditions and diseases requiring in-patient secondary and tertiary care hospitalization. This includes medical and surgical interventions, daycare treatments, and diagnostic procedures, all in accordance with the provisions outlined in Memorandum of Understanding (MoU).
Shija Hospitals is dedicated to ensuring that all medical treatments and facilities provided under this agreement adhere to an exceptional standard of care and are extended to the beneficiaries with the utmost diligence.
Beneficiaries of the Chief Minister Health Insurance Scheme (CMHIS) can avail themselves of coverage of up to Rs. 5 Lakhs, ensuring that they have access to quality healthcare services without the burden of financial constraints.
The CMHIS, launched by the Government of Nagaland in October 2022, is a significant initiative aimed at providing comprehensive health insurance coverage to the residents of the state. One segment of CMHIS beneficiaries includes the employees and pensioners of the Government of Nagaland.
