Imphal: The All Manipur Football Association (AMFA) has condoled the sudden demise of Ng. Bitan, football coach of Manipur on Wednesday at his residence of Khurai Konsam Leikai.

His sudden demise creates a great loss of Sports especially in football in the State. All Manipur Football Association implores for the perpetual serenity of the departed soul and rest at his heavenly abode and shares the sorrow and grief of the bereaved family.

It might be recalled that Ng. Bitan was an AFC-B license holder. He participated in the coaches clinic organized by AIFF at Jamshedpur from March 2020-28, 2009 and AFC Introductory course under Vision Asia 2002-2012 (Coaching Course for Grass root School 2006-2012).

He got many achievements during his career. He was appointed as spotter by AIFF for the sub-Junior U-16 National Championship held at Tripura. Appointed as spotter by AIFF for Sub-Junior U-14 (Boys) football festival held at Jamshedpur in the year 2010; as spotter by AIFF for Sub-Junior U-16 National Football Championship final round held at Gurgaon, Haryana; appointed as Assistant coach by AIFF for Sub-JuniorU-14 Boys Asian Football Festival held at Tehran, Iran; accompanied the Manipur U-19 football team as a Team coach for 6th Girls U-19 Football Championship held at Dindigul (Tamil Nadu) 2007-Secure; accompanied the Manipur U-13 boys football team coach for AIFF U-13 Football festival held at Keenan Stadium, Jamshedpur 2009; nominated as the Best coach of the year by All Manipur Football Association for outstanding performance in the field of Football for the 2009-2010; assistant Coach under -13-(training camp at Jamshedpur 2009; Assistant Coach under -14 (Iran-Football festival) 2010; appointed by AIFF as Coach for training of U-15 boys at IMG Academy USA Florida; Winner of IMG Cup-2010 at Florida; Assistant Coach under -16 (Uzbekistan -AFC qualifying tournament) 2011; appointed as spotter for Subrato Mukherji Cup U-17 Boys at Delhi- October 25 to November 16, 2011; appointed as spotter for B-C Roy Tournament U-16 Boys at Siliguri from January 17-29, 2012 and appointed by AIFF as Coach for training of U-15 Bays at IMG Academy USA Florida 2012.
