Imphal: A sit-in-protest was staged in front of OPD Block, RIMS Hospital against the bomb attack by unknown persons at CAO/FA Quarter of the institute o December 5.
Members of Patient Welfare Committee, Teachers’ and Medical Officers’ Association (TAMOA), RIMS Nurses Association (RNAL), Non-Teaching Employees Welfare Association (NTEWA), staff and students participated in the the protest demonstration.
Dr. W. Ranbir Singh, President, Non-Teaching Employees Welfare Association condemned the bomb attack by unknown persons at RIMS CAO/FA Quarter.
Appealing to all not to commit such things in the future, he said that RIMS is serving day and night providing patients care service amidst the ongoing violence for the last seven months.
He said that RIMS has been putting in tireless efforts to ensure that proper healthcare service is provided to all.
