Kidney patient appreciates Govt

Imphal: Keisham Ratan (30) s/o Keisham Modhu of Utlou Mamang Leikai, Bishnupur District who suffered acute renal failure  has received facilitity of kidney transplant under Chief Minister gi Haksel gi Tengbang. 

Keisham Modhu and Keisham (o) Naobi @ Sunita w/o Keisham Ratan have appreciated the Chief Minister and the support of the people in the successful kidney transplant. 

Addressing the media, Naobi stated that she had lost all hope as her husband remain confined in bed after suffering from failure of both kidneys however, with the help of Chief Minster gi Hakshelgi tengbang scheme, her husband received the kidney transplant without spending a single rupee at JNIMS.

Appreciating the government and CM Biren, Naobi reiterated that both the kidneys if her husband had failed in 2018 and they had Gove to Delhi for treatment however being from a poor family, the family used up all the savings in the treatment even selling the piece of land to continue treatment.

 She expressed gratitude to the CSOs and organisations for extending help to get family after which the news reached CM and under the instructions of CM N Biren medical teams were sent and Ratan’s treatment continued at JNIMS.

She stated that in the month of January Ratan successfully underwent kidney transplant and has been able to return to his normal life. She appreciated CM N Biren for helping and saving the life of her husband.
