Thoubal: Several properties of Tokpaching high school under Kakching Police station have been turned to ashes in the inferno that broke out on Monday night at about 11 PM. The school is a government aided school having class VI to 10. Locals saw the burning of the school at about 11 PM on Monday. Immediately, the locals rushed to the spot and tried to douse the fire. The inferno has destroyed the Headmaster room, Computer room and kitchen of the school. Immediate public intervention could prevent the situation from further damage. Books, 10 computer sets, one generator, two water storage tank, four Almirah and other important documents of the school have been destroyed in the inferno.
