Imphal: Olympian Sushila Chanu along with the officials of Department of Cardiology RIMS inaugurated Treadmill Test (TMT) and Holter system at RIMS Hospital on Thursday.
As part of the occasion RIMS Authority felicitated Sushila Chanu with a grand reception on her achievement at the Tokyo Olympics along with presentation of token gifts.
Speaking on the occasion Olympian Sushila Chanu said that though her women’s team could not bag any medals in the Tokyo Olympic 2020, the precious gesture and felicitation of the people of Manipur is a much bigger feeling than winning any medals.
Sushila Chanu further said that the support that she had received from the people of the state has encouraged her to move forward to bring more fame for the State.
The inaugural function witnessed the presence of RIMS Medical Superintendent Professor H. Priyosakhi Devi and The Morning Bell publisher Laimayum Bashanta Sharma, and other eminent officials.
The occasion was observed in strict maintenance of Covid-19 related SOPs.
