Thoubal: The full rehearsal of the upcoming State level Khongjom Day observation was held on Saturday at Khongjom War Memorial Complex in Khebaching, Thoubal. The full rehearsal programme held in the morning was attended by top officials of Manipur Police Department and district officials.
Deputy Commissioner, Thoubal A Subhash Singh inspected different venues including Martyr’s Memorial (hill-top), Paona Memorial (foot-hill), Khongjom River, Sankirtan Pandal among others. The Deputy Commissioner instructed concerned officers to ensure completion of all preparations on time.
Line departments including Minor Irrigation, Forest Division, Thoubal have already started various activities to keep the historical site of Khongjom War Memorial neat and clean for the State Level Khongjom Day celebration which is going to held on Tuesday, 23rd April, 2024.
