Imphal: Churachandpur Battalion under the aegis of IGAR (South) standing firm on its credo of “Friends of the North East” provided sports kits to Greenwood Academy to conduct Annual Sports Meet in B Vengnuom, Churachandpur, Manipur on Monday. Under the initiative of Fit India Movement & Khelo India, Churachandpur Battalion distributed various sports items such as Badminton Racquets, Basketballs, Footballs, Volleyballs, Football & Volleyball Nets etc for the conduct of Annual Sports Meet of Greenwood Academy.
In a press release issued by PRO IGAR (S) stated that the students were also briefed on the importance of sports and physical training in their overall development. The platform was also utilized to disseminate information on ‘Nasha Mukht Bharat Abhiyan’ to the students.
