Work for unity and safety of Kangleipak: Dy CM

IMPHAL:The Kangleipak Kanba Lup (KKL) has observed its 2nd Rising Day at Jawaharlal Nehru Manipur Dance Academy, here on Friday and during the observance different experts took part in a short discussion on the topic “Change and Continuity in Manipur Society. The Chief Guest, Deputy Chief Minister Y.Joykumar Singh inducted the new office bearers of KKL through the programme.During the observance Joykumar Singh stated that people should take all possibilities and decide the best aspect judging on what is good for the Kangleipak society, and moreover work together as one for unity and safety of Kangleipak. He mentioned that three perspectives are pertinent with the current society’s, namely political perspective, social perspective and economical perspective.Speaking in the discussion on the topic of change and continuity in Manipur society today, he said that if we really see different aspects of life there are always negative and positive points when it changes lifestyles.Different dignitaries namely Chairperson of Manipur State Human Rights Commission Khaidem Mani, Chairperson of Manipur State Commission for Women Dr.Meinam Binota, Social Scientist Dr.Dhanabir Laishram and Senior Journalist Pradeep Phanjoubam also shared their views and thoughts for the betterment of the Kangleipak from their own perspectives of life.
