Five Star English School agrees to bear all expenses
Imphal: An agreement deed was made between School Authority of Five Star English School, Guardian Committee of Five Star English School located at Lilong Atukhong Mamang Leikai and ZEO Thoubal on Friday regarding the incident where some students of Five Star English School had vandalised school properties, vehicles and pelted stones on Thursday at Lilong Higher Secondary Madrassa and thereby damaging properties and injuring people.
According to source both the parties came to an amicable settlement under some terms and conditions.
The agreed terms and conditions, according to source, were that school authority of Five Star English School and Guardian Committee of Five Star English School would be responsible for damages of school properties, vehicles damaged and treatment of injured persons.
“They shall bear all the expenses needed in repairing of damaged properties including vehicles and treatment of injured persons,” as per the agreement.
Further, it was also agreed that if such type of incident recurred in future, the school registration of Five Star English School will be cancelled or ceased without prior notice, the source informed.
The source also added that during the course of investigation of the said incident, if anybody is found involved in the incident, school authority, Five Star English School and Guardian Committee of the Five Star English School shall hand over the involved person/persons to concerned police and they shall co-operate with the investigation of the case, was noted in the deed.
“Regarding the unfortunate incident, school authority of Five Star English School and Guardian Committee of Five Star English School shall apologise publicly,” the deed mentioned.
It may be mentioned here that the agreement deed has been signed by Md. Habibullah from School Authority side, while Md. Helaluddin from Guardian Committee side of the Five Star English School and A. Anilkumar, ZEO Thoubal from government side.
Meanwhile, School Authority and Guardian Committee of Five Star English School, Lilong have strongly condemned the incident at Liong Higher Secondary Madrassa on Thursday, stated a release.
The release signed by Md. Helal-luddin, convenor, School Authority and Guardian Committee further stated that the school would try not to recur the incident in the future at its best level and made a humble apology to all the students union of the state and CSOs for the incident.
