TSA Sadar Hills reaches out to orphan students in COVID-19

KANGPOKPI: As part of its student welfare program and in a goodwill mission Thadou Students’ Association Sadar Hills Kangpokpi district reached out to orphan students in orphanage home within Kangpokpi district during the pandemic COVID-19.

The student body had visited KC. Children Home Kanglatongbi, Stephenos Children Home Leimakhong, Royal Children Home Leimakhong, Compassion Children Home Taloulong, Loagos Children Home Sipijang and Agape Children Home Kangpokpi in Gunhom area of Kangpokpi District.

Romen Lalginsei Lhouvum, Vice President TSA Sadar Hills said everyone irrespective of rich and poor is the victim of the pandemic COVID-19 in various form mainly due to the prolong lockdown and our focus is on the welfare of the welfare of the student community being one of the student body.

Our main focus is upon the orphan student staying at various homes in the district. We understand what would be the hardship faced by the respected people running the home or orphanage during this pandemic and in the larger interest of the welfare of the orphan students we have decided to reached out to them with food so that the student can study in their respective home without hungry, he added.

He also said that TSA Sadar Hills would strive to bring changes in the education system in the district and for that matter we seek the consistent support and cooperation of the public especially from the parents and guardian of the student community.

The TSA leader also conveyed the student body gratitude and appreciation to all those who render maximum help in cash, kind and materials in reaching out to the orphan students at various children home during this pandemic.
