Bishnupur: A one day training programme for service providers under Nasha Mukt Bharat Campaign organised by District Level Nasha Mukt Bharat Campaign, Bishnupur District was held on Saturday at the Conference Hall of the Office of People Resource Development Association (PRDA), Bishnupur.
The programme witnessed the presence of SP/Bishnupur Priyadarshini Laishram, District Social Welfare Officer L. Jotish and Secretary Center for Social Development U. Nobokishwar as special guests.
Speaking on the occasion, SP/Bishnupur Priyadashini Laishram said that though many have consumed and sold drugs and illicit items in large in the last couple years, it has been able to be reduced at present with the various programs taken up by the State Government.
She said, club, organisations and Meira Paibi of different locality and villages need to work together and the Police will also extend their best level support, only than it will be more success not only in reducing the consumption and sales of illicit items but fully wiping it out from the district, she added.
As resource persons, Secretary PRDA L. Suranjoy and Secretary RRTC Dr. Jayenta spoke in relation with the programme during the technical session.
