Imphal: A 16-year old boy scrummed due to an electrocution while trying to fetch ripped mango at Namkaolong Part-1 under the jurisdiction of Khoupum Police Station in Noney District on Monday around 1:30 pm.
The deceased has been identified as Lungaiphun Riamei, son of Lungaisin Riamei of Namkaolong Part-1.
The deceased father claimed and has filed a complaint to Khoupum Police Station that the unfortunate incident that claimed his son’s life occurred due to the negligence of the Electricity Department.
