State clocks zero cases, continues zero-death run

Imphal: As many as 102 samples were taken for testing in the last 24 hours. However, no new cases of COVID-19 were detected in the State in any of the testing centres for once again. The State also continued to register zero deaths for the 57th day in succession and for the 13th time in this month. The recovery rate remained unchanged at 98.45 percent although one person was discharged during the same period.    

The State Level Covid-19 Deaths Audit Committee reported nil cases of Covid-19 deaths in the last 24 hours. The cumulative number of deaths is 2120. One person was discharged in a single day. He was from Home Isolation, informed Covid-19 Common Control Room.

The cumulative number of positive cases is 137,230 (General Population-1,32,216 and Central Security Personnel-5,014) while the cumulative number of recovered cases is 1,35,102 (General Population-1,30,095 and Central Security Personnel- 5,007). The number of active cases is 8 (General Population-8 and Central Security Personnel-0). The recovery rate stood at 98.45 percent, it revealed.

As on Thursday, a total of 117 D-type Oxygen cylinders and 21 B-type Oxygen cylinders were made available to different health facilities of the State. The number of doses of Covid-19 vaccine administered on Thursday is 1612. The cumulative number of doses is 2866442 (first dose-1562477, second dose-1213905 and precautionary dose-90060), the control room divulged in its daily bulletin.
