Imphal: Three shops used for selling second-hand clothes were burnt down to ashes in Tamenglong Bazaar near Traffic point at around 10:00 PM on Tuesday. Luckily, no casualties were reported.
According to the source the district, fire tenders rushed to the spot and rescued one famil from the incident in the midst of their slept. It is suspected that the fire started due to short electric circuit.
In the said fire, saving boxex, clothes and some special documents were destroyed.
As per reports, the three shops belong to Pousailiu Pamei, Rightson Kamei, Ishmael while the said building belongs to S.P. Anam.
