IMPHAL: The Rongmei Naga Students’ Organisation, North-East India (RNSO- NEI) has expressed its heartfelt gratitude to all the leaders of RNSO state units for shouldering a tough job in order to ease the grievances of the Rongmei community stranded at their respective regions during the period of the lockdown.
In the press release signed by its president Parlatng Kamei, it was stated that the role of volunteers who selflessly work for the Rongmei community during this difficult times was noteworthy and added that their good works should be cherished in every heart of people from the community.
The organization further acknowledged the act of generosity from the MLA Gaikhangam of Nungba assembly constituency, MLA Samuel Tamenglong assembly constituency and ADC members from various segments including the concerned DC,SDOS and individuals for their helping hands during the times of need.
“Whereas the chairman of the Zeliangrong United Front (ZUF) Pouh Jenchui Kamei also extended in contributing foods and commodities towards the four quarantine centers namely Noney headquarter, Khoupum sub-divisional, Nungba sub-divisional headquarters and Reanpang Village to fight against the Covid-19 pandemic, we are greatly indebted to them for extending such kind gesture towards the poor and the needy,” RNSO added.
The RNSO-NEI further welcomed any kind of help from any individual and the families to fight against the current pandemic situation in the state and also urged the people to stay away from political bias. “RNSO aims to win over the unseen virus which has cause great distress to the whole nations. The RNSO also sought prayer from the people for those infected persons with Covid-19 and for the great frontline warriors who are fighting against the COVID-19 pandemic in the entire country,” it added.
