Resigned to save the government, says Ginsuanhau Zou; hints at contesting by-elections

Ccpur: Ginsuanhau Zou, the MLA from Singngat AC who recently resigned from the house of Members of Legislative Assembly on Friday said he did so to save the present government under the chief ministership of N. Biren Singh.

The Chairman of MANIREDA and former MLA called a workers’ meeting at his residence located at Lailamveng, Churachandpur and hinted that he was ready to contest the by-elections.

This is the first meeting after his resignation from his legislator post on August 10, 2020. 

Hinting that he was ready  to contest the coming by-elections from 60 Singngat AC, Ginsaunhau Zou asserted that he had resigned for the good of the constituency in particular and the frontal organisations of his area and to save the present Government under CM Biren Singh which always supports and promotes 60 Singngat AC. He told his workers that he was elected as INC candidate but had to make some political turnaround which was demanded by the political setup and by the KNO and UPF leadership and for the good of the people recalling that he had joined BJP on the 17th of April 2017 and resigned on 10th of August 2020 to help the chief minister. He expressed gladness that God had destined that Singngat AC representative to save the Government and thus the organisation and people within.

The workers meet was attended by the four MDC under 60 Singngat AC and other MDCs as well, well wishers who were unanimous in their endorsement for the MLA decision to resign for the good of the people of the areas. Leaders from two sub-divisions under Singngat AC namely Sangaikot and Singngat sub divisions gathered in large numbers on the occasion.
