PTA, Catholic School draws urgent attention to errors in ongoing HSLCE

IMPHAL: The Parents Teacher Association (PTA), Catholic School, Canchipur, has condemned the errors committed by BOSEM in the distribution of answer papers with damaged pages to students appearing ongoing HSLC examination, 2020 and has drawn urgent attention from the authority to the unwanted case experienced by a student who sat the examination at the Regular English School, Kwakeithel Block-A centre.

In a press release, it said that the student after answering the questions of Science subject yesterday found damaged blank pages inside and he immediately reported it to the invigilator for his notice. However, the invigilators refused to do his part thereby causing unrest to the student. The PTA takes the matter seriously as no immediate response was forwarded from the side of the BOSEM even after the vice-president of the Catholic School, Canchipur had submitted a complaint about it to the controller of examination. It had reached the ears of the association that due to use of substandard papers as answer sheet many pages were found damaged, discolored and crooked in many pages of the answer scripts at the same exam centre, and BOSEM has to take the responsibility, the release added.

Acknowledging the immediate response from the side of the education minister to take up stern action against the perpetrators in the Class-XI examinations question leak case, the PTA has asked the minister concerned to take the matter seriously and intervene in this case too. The authorities of BOSEM have to relieve the unrest of the students with prompt actions before the examination of Social Science subject is conducted, stated the PTA press release.
