IMPHAL: The Naga Students Federation (NSF) has informed to all the candidates who have been selected to undergo various courses through JEE & NEET, that there will be physical verification of the candidates at the Oking, office of the NSF, Kohima starting from November 25 till 15 December, 2020.
In a press release of NSF signed by its vice-president and secretary education Dievi Yano and Kegwayhun Tep it was said that the verification will be conducted by the education committee, NSF where the candidates are asked to be accompanied by their parents or guardians along with their original documents with recent passport size photograph, HSSLC admission card, Schedule Tribe certificate and Indigenous Certificate.
While, only candidates who are Nagas by blood are eligible to occupy the seat allotted for the state of Nagaland, however, in the past years there have been instances of non-indigenous candidates applying from the state quota, it added.
Further, the selected candidates for the year 2020 who fail to verify their documents will be considered as not eligible and necessary steps will be initiated against the defaulters, while all the candidates are ensured to strictly comply with the SOPs.
