NSCN/GPRN-R restores Rockson as Chairman of Amamcht Region

IMPHAL: The NSCN/GPRN-Reformation has restored Mr. Rockson as new Chairman of the Amamcht Region (Southern Nagaland) with immediate effect on June 22, 2020.

With this appointment, the office of the Ministry of Kilo Affairs NSCN/GPRN-Reformation cancels the appointment of Mr. Vinky Paschel, S/o. Lt. Reinghring Paschel, who was appointed the Chairman of Amamcht Region (Southern Nagaland) by Capt (Retd) Kaiyong Konyak, Deputy Kilonser, Home Affairs on February 1, 2020.

Mr. Vinky Paschel has been asked to report to the office of the President for immediate confirmation.

Laban Gangmei, Political Supervisor, Southern Nagaland, NSCN/GPRN-R in a letter to The Ministry of Kilo Hiyam, NSCN/GPRN-R stated that as per the outcome of the meeting held on dated: 02/03/2020 at Mon, h was assigned to study the matters and report to the Kilo Hiyam at the earliest. The matter of Amamcht region Chairman and Care taker matter was thoroughly discussed among the all ranks and files of the Amamcht region workers, he stated.

The following points were analyzed within the concern competent authority viz. the previous order issued by the office of Deputy Home in favour of Vinky to be the Care Taker without consoling the Region Workers including the existing Chairman; Mr. Vinky who was terminated his service from GPRN/NSCN-Unification did not analyse and he was given Care Taker order from the Office of Deputy Home before he was given any appointment order and before he takes the Oath of Allegiance from the higher authority.

As per the recommendation of all the workers of the Amamcht region it came into conclusion that the present Chairman Rockson be continue to perform as region Chairman until further decision, Laban Gangmei stated. Secondly, the order of Vinky for the Care-Taker be cancelled and issue an appointment order without assignment until three month service is completed from the date of notification of his order, the Political Supervisor, Southern Nagaland, NSCN/GPRN-R added.
