IMPHAL: The new office bearers of Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) Manipur Pradesh were announced by its president Prof S Tikendra on Monday.
In a notification issued by the state president, six persons were appointed as vice-presidents, namely N. Nimbus Singh, A. Sharda Devi, RK Somorjit Singh, T. Meena Devi, R. Yuh Jonathan Tao (ST), and Ch. Chidananda Singh.
Dr. U. Deben Singh and L. Deven Singh will serve in the post of general secretary, while Om Prakesh Sekhawat was appointed as the new treasure. The other appointments were P. Premananda Meetei as secretary organization; and P. Somojit Singh, K. Inaocha Devi, S Premita (SC), Kh. Basanta Singh, M. Joykishore Singh and M. Priyokumar Singh as secretaries.
The party chief spokesperson will be Ch. Bijoy Singh, while Dr. Nimaichand Luwang, Dr. Kh. Loken Singh, and H.S. Benjamin Mate (ST) were appointed as spokespersons and S. Nongpokngangba Meetei as coordinator spokesperson.
