Kohima: Nagaland’s COVID-19 tally reached 11,379 as 39 more people tested positive on Sunday.
Kohima district reported the highest number of new cases (28), followed by Dimapur (5) and Wokha and Tuensang with 2 cases each, according to State Health Minister S Pangnyu Phom’s update.
Meanwhile, there were 4 more recoveries on December 6, taking the tally of recoveries in the State to 10,653.
The State also has 59 COVID-19 deaths till date while 7 deaths are ‘not COVID related’ and investigation is underway to ascertain the cause of 3 other deaths, according to the Nagaland COVID-19 bulletin issued by the Health and Family Welfare Department.
The state now has 544 active cases, while 10,653 people have been cured of the disease and 113 patients have migrated to other states.
