IMPHAL: The Manipuri Students’ Federation (MSF) on Thursday has organized a school inspection under the banner of its academic campaign “Ekhoi Lairik Ningthina Tamsi” at four different schools of the state.
During the school inspection, the MSF visited the schools namely Mongsangei Upper Primary School, Khagemba Junior High School, Heirangoithong Junior School and Heirangoithong High School.
A press release of MSF further said the team found that in all the schools there are no proper toilet, mid-day meal kitchen and facilities related to health. At the same time most of the infrastructures at the schools are in bad conditions. The students’ federation appealed to state government and other concerned authorities to look into the matter at the earliest.
The MSF appreciated the state government for inaugurating five schools which was taken up under the mission of “School Fagathansi Mission”, and further appealed to the state government to take up development in every part of the Manipur in both hills and valley without any political bias.
The federation further appealed to government not to take up the “School Fagathansi Mission” not for sake of taking political mileage but to make an honest effort for the future of students and future of Manipur society.
