MOU signed between Manipur State Rural Livelihood Mission and Ching-Tam Trust

Imphal: A Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) has been signed between Manipur State Rural Livelihood Mission (MSRLM) and Ching-Tam Trust, Manipur, the Project Implementing
Agency (PIA) on Saturday, under Deen Dayal Upadhyaya Grameen Kaushalya Yojana (DDU-GKY), a rural youth skilling program sponsored by Ministry of Rural Development and Government of Manipur.

A total target of 270 groups has been sanctioned for providing training in the following trades: Bamboo Basket Maker, Packers, Agarbatti Packers and Pickle Technicians etc.

Meanwhile, the PIA will exclusively train Person with Disabilities (PWDS) at their training centre, at Lamlong, Imphal East, Manipur.


MSRLM was represented by Yumnam Robita, IAS, State Mission Director, and PIA by Wangkheirakpam Shreeman Singh, Managing Director, Ching Tam Trust, Manipur with the presence of Khundrakpam Bobby Singh, Chief Operating Officer, MSRLM and Athokpam Bikramjit Singh, Joint Director, Ching Tam Trust, Manipur.

The MOU was signed at the office chamber of State Mission Director, MSRLM, Old Secretariat, Imphal West, Manipur.
