IMPHAL: Yaiskul MLA Th Satyabrata on Sunday led a mass tree plantation programme at Singjamei Bheigyabati Leikai. The event was organised by a local club United Youth Organisation.
The tree plantation programme was attended by IMC Ward No. 18 Corporator L Inunganbi Devi and Ward member N Chabi Singh other than the legislator and conducted by strictly adhering to the Covid-19 safety protocols.
The objective of the plantation drive is to protect the deteriorating environment as a fallout of mass deforestation, said G Arunkumar Sharma, General Secretary, UYO in a statement
