Minister Nemcha Kipgen helps Kuki students in Chennai

KANGPOKPI: Social Welfare and Cooperation Minister Nemcha Kipgen extended financial help to students from Manipur in Chennai and Coimbatore amid the nationwide lockdown owing to the pandemic COVID-19.

The Social Welfare and Cooperation Minister extended Rs. 50,000/- each to KSO Chennai and Coimbatore towards COVID-19 Relief for the Kuki community living in Chennai and Coimbatore.

Meanwhile, KSO/KWS Chennai and KSO Coimbatore expressed heartfelt gratitude to the Minister for accepting their appeal and generously extending help by donating INR 50,000/-(fifty thousand) towards Covid-19 relief for Kuki Community living in an around Chennai City and Coimbatore.

It said that through your contribution, we were able to afford essential commodities at this time of global COVID-19 Pandemic crisis.

It also said that your generosity inspired us to reach out to the people who are in distress and stranded amidst this pandemic while adding that your timely and phenomenal contribution make you unique among all our respected leaders.

It further thanked the Social Welfare and Cooperation Minister for being the pride and joy for the Kukis residing in and around Chennai.

It also pray that the good Lord Almighty continue to bless her in all her future endeavours.
