Bishnupur: Like every year, a medical assessment camp jointly organised by SSA/State Mission Authority Manipur, ZEO/District Programme Officer SSA Bishnupur and Artificial Limb Manufacturing Corporation, Government of India for children between the age of 6 to 18 years ended at Konjeng Junior High School Moirang for Moirang Block on Thursday.
The camp was organised under the supervision of DC Bishnupur Neeta Arambam, IAS; ZEO Bishnupur N. Tikendrajit and CMO Bishnupur.
Speaking on the conclusion of the campo, Co-ordinator Moirang Block SSA Y. Victoria said that on Wednesday, the medical assessment camp was held in Bishnupur Block and in Moirang Block on Thursday.
She said, specialist doctors of Visual Impairment, Mental Retarded, Hearing Impairment and Orthopaedic providing thorough and proper examination facilities to the children.
Y. Victoria also said that the medical assessment camp is mainly organised with proper Inclusive Education Aids and Appliances Assessment under RTE to provide Escort, Transport, Wheel Chair, Tricycle for the differently abled children and Stipend and Reader Allowance for the girl students so that they can stand at the same level like of the abled children (general children).
