Imphal: Manipur Sub-Junior Indian Round Archery team has collected four medals in the 39th NTPC Sub-Junior National Archery Championship, 2022 which started on April 14 at Neemran, Alwar, Rajasthan.

In the said championship, L. Rojina clinched a gold medal at (30 metre) girls’ event and she again won bronze medal at individual girls’ event.

In the Mix team event, L. Rojina and Arshad Khan won silver medals. Manipur received silver medal in the Boys’ team which was represented by Md. Amir Arshad, E. Orbit, M. Bikash and W. Suraj.

The team was led by Th. Langamba Meitei and K. Devananda as team officials.

Meanwhile, Manipur Archery team for Sub-Junior Compound (Boys and Girls) will also participate in the 39th NTPC Sub-Junior National Archery Championship to be held at Neemrana, Alwar, Rajasthan from April 17 to 19.The Girls’ team will be represented by Senyai Thongam (VAA), Thounaojam Gracia (ACE), Thangjam Yeshika Chanu (VAA) and the Boys’ team will be represented by Rk. Priyobarta (UAC), Sorokhaibam Johnson (NSA), Meikham Robinson (UAC) and Y. Rojit (NSA). The team official is Gitanjalli Laishram.
