Maharashtra bag best team champion in first National Kung-Fu Taolu online Championship 2020

With 6 gold, 6 silver and 9 bronze medals, team Maharashtra bagged the Best Team Champion in the National Kung-Fu Taolu online Championship 2020.

The online Championship was jointly organised by All India Kung-Fu Federation and International Kung-Fu & Kickboxing Academy Tezpur Assam from June 5 to June 25, 2020.

Team Kerala bagged Best Runner up with 6 Gold, 4 Silver and 4 Bronze medals while Best Taolu Boy medal was bagged by Jushua Gegrge Roji  of team Kerala and Best Taolu Girl was bagged by  Naina Lama of team Maharastra and Old Young Man Award was bagged by PK Ashokan of team Kerala.

During the online championship team Assam bagged 3 Gold, 5 Silver, 8 Bronze medals while team Tamil Nadu bagged 2 Gold medals.

For team Manipur, the only participant who represented Manipur State Laishram Messi, son of Laishram Manichandra of Ningthoukhong bagged 1 Gold medal under 12 to 14 years Boys category.

Mention may be that during the online championship President of AIKFf Sifu CL Lama from Maharashtra, Working President Sifu Th. Noren from Manipur, Vice President MG Dileep, General Secretary  Sifu Dr. H. Romen from Manipur and Technical Director Sifu Ajay Chetry from Assam, Executive Director Sifu Bijayapan from Kerala participated as Jury Members.

Altogether 147 Kung-Fu Taolu from across the country, India, took part at the online championship.

Technical Director AIKFF Ajay Chetry expressed gratitude to those who extended their precious contribution in successfully conducting the first online Kung-Fu Taolu Online championship in india.

He further said that medals, trophies of those medalist players and certificates of honours of the Jury members will be reached out through courier at their respective residences.
